Ariel
N7 Space is proud to support ESA Ariel (Atmospheric Remote-sensing Infrared Exoplanet Large-survey) mission with dedicated adaptation of our critical Bootloader for Fine Guidance System (FGS) which development is lead by CBK in Poland.
Objective of the Ariel mission is to perform large survey inspecting exoplanets atmospheres in the search of clouds and details about weather condition. FGS play critical sole in the system guidance and targeting. Its complexity will also enable to use it for astrometry and fotometry.
At N7 Space we have performed adaptation of our critical Bootloader compliant with SAVOIR specification to mission requirements. One of the key challenges was to adopt its code base to Leon3 GR712 from our baseline product line targeted to ARM based MCUs.
Mission is scheduled for launch in 2029.
